Canary Islands tourism is marked with visit to the splendid atoll or group of Islands tucked of the northwest coast of Africa. The islands are filled with rugged cliffs, dense forests, rolling sand dunes and Spain’s tallest peak. The Canary Islands are a group of seven major islands and many other smaller islets.

The seven major mesmerizing islands of the group to visit are, La Palma placed in the north west of the Canary Island group. This island is adorned with a tropical rainforest, tiny villages offering panoramic views, mountains, volcanoes and fascinating beaches. This island is also among the un-spoilt places of the archipelago which is ideal for hiking, walking and resting peacefully. You can enjoy the fun of the rainy showers and the cloudy weather on this island. Tenerife is one of the most popular islands among this group. The group of islands can be entered from one of the two airports on Tenerife Island which is the gateway to the group of islands. Fuerteventura Island is popular for its large number of white sandy beaches with maximum sunshine. Some beaches are best for surfers while others are safe for family bathing. The abundant sea life provides opportunity for snorkeling around the island. Apart from the adventure sports there are botanical gardens, zoo and museums. It is the best location for relaxation. Gran Canaria the small island has shown a steep increase in tourist flow in recent years. The islands north side is mostly visited by businessmen. The adventure and leisure tourists have many attractions in the southern part like wonderful sandy beaches, leisure parks, water sports, theme parks and an encouraging nightlife.  Lanzarote is the fourth largest island amongst the Canary Islands. The island with a mild dry climate can be visited at anytime of the year. Even though the island is of volcanic nature it has some beautiful white sand beaches like Playa blanca and Papagayo. La Gomera island is located in the Atlantic ocean off the coast of North Africa. If you are a nature lover this island is the right place for you with untouched natural beauty of dense forests, parks, mountains and the fascinating black sand beaches.

Our experience of visiting the Canary islands last year was incredible. Due to some reasons from the group of seven major islands, we visited only three popular islands of Tenerife, Gran Canaria and La Palma. The islands are really romantic offering unique experience of holidaying with best means of accommodations and transportation facilities.
